Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Terms and Conditions") carefully before using The Quiz Zone’s quiz games (termed “Party” or “Parties”) creation and management software (the "Software") operated by The Quiz Zone (“we”).
Your access to and use of the Software is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms.
By using the Software you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you
disagree with any part of the terms then you may not use the Software.
Content
Our Software allows you to organize Parties involving other players. Party organization can include multimedia material. Material from The Quiz Zone’s database possesses legal rights of use based on the license terms of each item. Custom questions may use multimedia selected by you. You are responsible for ensuring that you have legal rights to use this material. The Quiz Zone does not take any responsibility for the use of such functionalities in ways that do not follow existing laws.
Conditions of Use
The Software can solely be used for non-commercial and private use. You are not allowed to make any profit from the use of the Software, even indirectly. Written permission is required for use under different conditions, and may be requested contacting us via e-mail at info@thequiz.zone
Data policy
The Software provides access to players’ data strictly limited to their username and avatar image, if the user has any. All other data are not accessible to protect our users’ privacy, protected according to the Privacy Policy specified on our website https://www.thequiz.zone
Limitation of liability
We use reasonable skill and care in providing our Software and related online services to you and in keeping a safe, secure, and error-free environment. However, malfunctions and disruptions may unexpectedly occur. We will not be liable for any damage unintentionally caused to you through the installation and/or use of the Software. You acknowledge and agree that by accepting these Terms you accept any reasonable risk that may arise from its installation.
Intellectual property
We retain ownership of all proprietary rights in the Software, related services, documentation, questions, and all logos and graphics. You may not reverse engineer, reverse compile or otherwise reduce to human readable form the Software or any related service. You may not access any data stored on our servers that are not directly provided to you through the Software or through our website.
Payment terms
The Software is free for use under the specified Conditions of Use for the lifetime of its major version 1.x. Services related to any software version may be terminated with a 14 days’ notice.
Advertising content
We reserve all rights to include advertising content in the Software or related services. We are not responsible for the availability or content of ads if provided by third parties. We are not responsible for any losses or damages of any sort incurred as a result of the use of ads.
Termination
You are free to stop using the Software and all related services at any time. You are also free to uninstall the Software from your computer at any time. Uninstalling the Software may remove all related data, making them unrecoverable. We reserve the right to terminate your rights of use of the Software if you breach these Terms, or act in such a way to harm our Software, services, users, or our reputation.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days’ notice prior to any new Terms taking effect. Notice will be provided via e-mail.
