This page describes how you may delete an account created on www.thequiz.zone or through the mobile app "The Quiz Zone - Remote" and how your data are treated when you delete your account.
To delete your account through this website, please log in to your profile (if you are not already logged in) and go to your profile page. At the bottom, you will find a link to delete your account. Click on it to go to a page where you will be asked for confirmation, where you'll have to type in your password for additional security.
To delete your account through the mobile app "The Quiz Zone - Remote", please log in to your account and then tap on Profile. Scroll to the bottom of the page, where you will find a "Delete your account" button. Tap on it to see a pop-up that will ask you for confirmation, where you'll have to type in your password for additional security.
Please notice that once confirmed, the deletion of your account is irreversible as your data will be permanently deleted.
If you have played any parties, your results will be retained but your username will be obfuscated and will appear as "Deleted user (UNIQUE CODE)". If you have organized any parties, the results of those parties will still be available, however your name or any other information will not appear anywhere.
If you have bought any support packages through our website, strictly only the billing data associated with paid invoices will be retained. Any billing data entered but not used in invoices will be permanently deleted.
